The entrance to the small theater where Han Seongtae’s fan autograph event was being held was packed with people.
Click, click, click.
Reporters who had gathered in numbers almost equal to the general public repeatedly pressed their shutters.
If not for the security personnel hired by PAN Entertainment, it was crowded enough that several accidents could already have happened.
“…There really are a lot.”
Sitting in the driver’s seat, Han Seongtae let out a sound of amazement as he watched the people packed together like a flock of sheep.
He had not expected this many people to gather.
Why had so many people come all the way here for an event that only one hundred people could enter?
At this point, he started to feel bad that they had chosen such a small theater for the autograph event.
As Han Seongtae drove past the people and headed toward the rear of the theater, the entire car filled with the sound of his ringtone.
It was a call from Jung Dusik.
“Yes, hyung.”
“Where are you right now?”
“I’m behind the theater. I’m about to go down into the basement.”
“You made it there safely? The crowd outside is no joke right now.”
“That’s why I came separately. Imagine if I’d come in the van. We probably wouldn’t even have been able to get inside.”
There were already more than a hundred people just within his field of vision.
Even with security personnel there, handling that many people would be difficult.
“It was a good idea. Who would’ve thought you’d arrive in a normal passenger car?”
It was an autograph event.
Since he was the main attraction, few people would think he would arrive in an ordinary car.
“Just come straight up. Do you need to change clothes?”
“I came dressed already.”
Since he was not getting separate help from a stylist, there was no reason not to come already dressed.
“Good. We’ll talk about the rest when you get up here.”
“Yes. I’m coming up now.”
Han Seongtae ended the call and got out of the car.
When he reached the waiting room, Jung Dusik and members of the makeup team were there.
Han Seongtae naturally walked over to the vanity and sat down.
“I’ll tell you today’s schedule.”
Jung Dusik spoke quickly from behind him.
Han Seongtae listened to his manager while shifting his gaze.
A monitor had been placed beside the vanity, and the screen showed the stage of the small theater.
“…You’ll sing a song, and after that…….”
While Jung Dusik spoke behind him and the team members holding cosmetics moved busily in front of him, time passed, and someone stepped onto the stage.
It was the host in charge of the autograph event.
‘They said he’s a comedian who’s close to Yoo Jaehyuk.’
As befitting someone who had the Nation’s MC as a friend, his hosting was witty and skillful.
“Ha ha ha.”
The fans’ laughter at his hosting was loud enough to carry through the monitor.
Han Seongtae also watched the host and formed a faint smile.
“Now then, the moment you’ve all been waiting so eagerly for has finally arrived.”
One of the staff members opened the door, came inside, and told him it was time to go.
His makeup had just been finished as well.
Han Seongtae got up from his seat.
“Do well.”
“I’ll be back.”
Giving Jung Dusik a nod, Han Seongtae followed the staff member.
Step, step.
The sound of his dress shoes quietly filled the hallway.
The closer he got to the stage, the more he could almost feel the heat.
He could hear the noise.
Creak.
The door opened.
“Waaaaah!”
At the same moment, thunderous voices erupted from every direction.
His ears momentarily rang.
[‘The Founder of Jeet Kune Do’ laughs, saying it is quite a spectacle.]
[‘The One With a Thousand Faces’ says your expression is amusing.]
[‘The One Who Defined an Era’ pushes you on the back, telling you to hurry along.]
Han Seongtae faced his fans.
Kim Minsu sat among Han Seongtae’s fans.
The no. 2 logo on the laptop resting on his knees revealed that he was a reporter.
“Han Seongtae! Han Seongtae!”
People shouted the actor’s name from every direction.
Looking around at them, Kim Minsu let out a hollow laugh.
‘Anyone looking at this would think it was an idol autograph event.’
It was difficult to believe this was an autograph event for an actor only in his fourth year.
Kim Minsu tapped on his keyboard and briefly checked his smartphone.

Division Head: Do you know how much trouble I went through to get that ticket?
Division Head: If you don’t bring back a proper exclusive, you’d better be prepared.
He turned off his smartphone and looked back toward the stage.
Right now, it was time to focus completely on Han Seongtae.
Tap, tap-tap.
The sound of typing lingered around him.
“Waaaaah!”
The keyboard sounds were swallowed by the cheers that had been ringing out for some time.
“Now then, shall we bring out the actor?”
With the host’s voice, someone walked onto the stage.
The moment he appeared, the people’s cheers became even louder.
“(Tap, tap.) Hello. I’m Han Seongtae.”
As he tapped the microphone and spoke, the audience screamed once again.
Their voices were so loud it felt as if the entire small theater were shaking.
“I haven’t prepared all that much, but I hope you enjoy yourselves.”
“Yes!”
“We love you!”
“Thank you. I love you too. The first thing I prepared is…”
“He’s good.”
Kim Minsu honestly admired him.
As far as he knew, this was Han Seongtae’s first autograph event.
It would not have been strange for anyone to become flustered or make mistakes when doing something for the first time, yet Han Seongtae led the event as skillfully as though he were already accustomed to it.
Even the way he controlled the tone and volume of the crowd was impressive enough to deserve applause.
“This is a song I prepared.”
He could sing well too.
There was such a thing as being too multitalented.
‘Where the hell did a guy like this come from?’
Watching him sing together with his fans, Kim Minsu unconsciously became absorbed in the moment.
Let’s all smile together
In this joyful world
Han Seongtae’s voice filled the small theater.
Tap-tap-tap.
Only after the song ended could Kim Minsu return to his keyboard.
[Han Seongtae’s fan meeting…….]
Tap.
[Han Seongtae’s fans…….]
Tap-tap-tap.
He deleted what he had written.
[The people’s passionate…….]
Tap-tap-tap.
He wrote a new headline.
By the time the autograph event was nearing its end, Kim Minsu had also finished writing his article.
“I prepared something for all of you. I hope you’ll like it.”
Staff members carrying stacks of boxes approached the audience from behind the stage.
Watching them hand the boxes out one by one to each person, Kim Minsu’s eyes became busy as well.
“Thank you.”
A box was placed in his hands.
It was fairly bulky, yet it did not weigh very much.
‘What is this?’
Kim Minsu stared down at the box, his expression filling with curiosity.
If Han Seongtae had given it to them, it probably would not be anything ordinary.
“Whoa, whoa. This is crazy! This actually came in here?”
“It’s merch! The quality is insane.”
At the voices coming from all around him, Kim Minsu hurriedly tore open the packaging.
Inside were a Choi Deoksu mask, a lenticular item, and merchandise of Ji Yeonwoo’s Sapsal-dog version.
The quality of every single item was incredible.
Looking down at the merchandise, he reached toward his keyboard.
Tap. Tap-tap-tap.
He deleted what he had written.
Tap-tap-tap.
Then he wrote something new.
[Han Seongtae’s Autograph Event Brought Happiness to Everyone.]
There was far too much to write about.
[Han Seongtae Gives a Shocking Performance…]
[Eyewitness Accounts from Fans Who Received Han Seongtae’s Merchandise…]
[A Perfect Autograph Event Presented by…]
All of Korea was buzzing.
Han Seongtae’s fan autograph event had left a powerful impression on the public in more ways than one.
His first autograph event in the four years since his debut.
He had sung at a high level despite being an actor, and at the end, he had even given merchandise to the fans as gifts.
Every single part of it was enough to become a topic of conversation among the fans.
[Han Seongtae, Is He Even Real?]
My girlfriend managed to get tickets, so we went to Han Seongtae’s autograph event, right?
It was crazy starting from the entrance.
Hundreds of people were gathered outside a place that could only let a hundred people in.
Honestly, I don’t like Han Seongtae all that much, so I was wondering whether people really needed to go this far.
But once I saw him in person, I understood why.
Han Seongtae, what the hell is with this guy having so much charm?
He’s handsome, he’s great at talking, and the gifts were no joke either.
He takes such good care of his fans that even I thought he was ridiculously sweet.
And then he gives everyone gifts at the end. These gifts were insane.

Does this even make sense?
Apparently he prepared a hundred of these with his own money. How are you not supposed to become a fan of someone like that?
I became a fan immediately.
I looked up all his works afterward, and they were insane.
These days, I think I like Han Seongtae more than my girlfriend does.

Un Junseo: Wow, I’m seriously so jealous. You got to see Han Seongtae in person and got reverse gifts from him. And what the hell is with the merch quality being that good? Ha… I should’ve gone too.
Wet Tissue: Apparently the competition rate was 5,200 to 1. So only the chosen ones could get them.
LightUpQuickly: So that was what Park Yeeun and Rogers posted. I was wondering where they were selling it, but it was all buildup for this. Seriously amazing. Just amazing.
The conversation that had started with Han Seongtae shifted toward the merchandise he had given his fans.
[This Is My First Time Getting Reverse Gifts from a Celebrity.]
I’m starting to worry that our Seongtae oppa is overdoing things.
The ticket was 52,000 won. (~ 38USD)
Looking at all the merchandise he prepared, he must have spent way more than that, right?
I never thought I’d receive reverse gifts like this.
I’m so grateful that I almost feel sorry.
I don’t even know how I can repay these feelings.
But isn’t this Ji Yeonwoo merchandise way too cute?

They captured the key features so well, and this card is seriously so cool too.
Seongtae oppa, if you’re even this sweet, what are people like me supposed to do?
I’m so glad I became a fan of Seongtae oppa.

SeongtaeMom: I’m seriously jealous. I tried for tickets too, but unfortunately I couldn’t get one. You got to see our actor in person. You must have loved it.
SeongtaeForever: The merchandise is so adorable. I especially love that card. A card that lets you feel two different kinds of charm at once… I’m so sad I couldn’t go. The company wouldn’t sell those, would they? It would be so nice if they did.
KRacupunctureRoom: What if we make a suggestion? Honestly, if we fans step up and ask, I don’t think they’d refuse to make them. Seongtae oppa did this much for us, so the company should do some work too. They haven’t been doing anything lately.
More and more people began calling for the merchandise to be sold.
Han Seongtae was looking through all of those reactions.
He had not expected the response to be this good.
“I’m really glad I did it.”
[‘The One With a Thousand Faces’ says that because there are people who love you, you are able to work even harder.]
[‘The One Who Defined an Era’ murmurs with a wistful expression that people’s attention is like a drug.]
[‘The One Who Made Laughter from Tragedy’ applauds you.]
The gods offered him their congratulations.
Han Seongtae smiled and nodded, then turned his attention away from his smartphone and looked over the script.
He wanted to keep reading people’s reactions, but that did not mean he could neglect filming.
Rustle.
Just as he turned one page of the script,
Bzzzt.
His smartphone vibrated.
Jung Dusik: Seongtae, are you thinking about selling the merchandise?
Han Seongtae’s expression turned strange as he read the message.
