Even for someone who’d lived comfortably, half a million won was serious money. Cash or not, losing it in game-currency form was something he could not let slide.

No wonder: with a 50 % tax, hardly anyone used the market, so castle taxes never piled up. Could Bingsu, who regularly sold gold for cash, cough up a hundred million to match the wager?

If Bingsu chickened out, they’d have to pay Flammer a 50 % forfeit. Meaning Yeonjun would get back several times the fee they’d stolen. If they accepted, he could take the castle. Losing two hundred million? He didn’t even consider that possibility.

Rumors had been swirling: Why doesn’t the undefeated Base-king go for castles? Maybe he sucks at other PvP? Time to prove them wrong.

Would Bingsu accept? Pay up one hundred million and keep the castle, or risk losing it altogether. The choice was theirs.

Four hours later, Bingsu’s guild master ChocoSyrup made the call.

Eraha Online hadn’t even reached its first anniversary when the richest siege in its history kicked off.

Of course, Yeonjun won.

The moment Flammer’s victory rang across Nacht, every community and the entire Eraha Online universe went absolutely wild.
